Chips with everything !

Is your pet identichipped yet ?

Sunnyside will be taking part in National Micro-chipping month this June. We are implanting the plain identichips for the reduced price of £10.

We also have Biotherm chips at £15, which are popular because they can be used to check your pet’s temperature, without the need to use a thermometer which your pet may resent. These prices include registration with Petlog.

Once the rice grain sized chip is implanted under the skin using a sterile technique, it attaches to the tissues and stays in your pet for life.

The chip then identifies your pet so that you can be reunited if they get lost. If you pet is found injured and taken to a vet, they will be able to contact you about emergency treatment.
More than 1.5 million pets have been micro-chipped in the last few years. Vets, charities, police and shelters all have scanners to identify any pets found. Visit Petlog's website for more details.

Sunnyside Vets Open Day at Roydon 6th June 2009

We are having an OPEN DAY at Roydon on Saturday the 6th of June 2009.

Everyone is welcome !

We are running the popular fun dog show, so contact the practice to enter your pet for a chance to win some great prizes.

There will also be a microchip service where you can get you pet identichipped. The cost will be £10 for a standard chip and £15 for the BIOTHERM chip. The BIOTHERM chip enables us to read your pet's temperature using the chip reader, instead of the traditional thermometer method, which your pet may not be as "keen" on.

There will be a number of animal charities present including CATS PROTECTION, PETS AS THERAPY, PADDLING PAWS HYDROTHERAPY.

KLFM will be there too !!

They are running a competition for two weeks before the event, and the final will take place at the open day itself. The prize is FREE VETERINARY CARE FOR A YEAR, including dental, heart, eye and ear checks, blood test, free preventitive care, wormers and flea control, weight check and one month free diet food if your pet needs to lose weight.

The prize is for one pet and does not included medication that they may already on. For full terms and conditions visit their website at www.klfm967.co.uk

There will be a tour of the clinic and interesting exihibits, with staff on hand to answer your questions.

The fun starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
