Family-owned vets who take the time to explain.
We're an independent practice. We talk you through every option, in plain English, so you can choose what's right for your pet.
Calm, unhurried care
We get to know you and your pet, explain things clearly and keep the practice quiet for animals who find the vet stressful.
Who you'll see at Sunnyside
“Love this vets. Proper INDEPENDENT surgery, animals always come first. All staff are superb and very knowledgeable and welcoming. Although not the closest to me they will always have my custom.”
“I highly recommend this veterinarian. The doctors and nurses are very dedicated, and they genuinely care about your pet. I had a terrible experience at another veterinary hospital where the vet subtly suggested my cat could be put down and tried to empty my pockets. But I’m so glad I stuck with Sunnyside. After a little over a month, my cat’s health has returned to normal, although he still needs care. I’m so grateful to Christine, Clare, and the other medical staff. My cat is a huge part of my life, and I can feel that it was our collective effort that saved him.”
“Head and shoulders above any vets I’ve ever dealt with. They’re professional but friendly, don’t over-charge and are so kind and gentle with my aging Pug. Can’t recommend them highly enough.”
“A very reassuring and friendly welcome for a first time visitor. Justin and his team obviously have a lot of experience and care for their patients. Diagnosis is with common sense instead of suggesting lots of tests for the sake of them. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.”
“Sunnyside are the best vets that I’ve ever used. Everyone there are fantastic. Justin is amazing. Recently had our 15 year old lab put to sleep and everthing was done with such compassion. Amazing practice”
